Coaches/Players/Parents/Spectators:
Kutztown University is happy to be hosting the Kutztown Spring Classic. We hope you will enjoy the event. Following is information about activities taking place as well as some logistical information to help make the event run as smoothly as possible
The Kutztown Spring Classic serves as a fundraiser for the Shannon Sullivan Memorial Scholarship at Kutztown University. Shannon was an all-state player at Pine Grove HS before attending KU. As a Golden Bear, she was a four-year letter winner, a two-time captain & member of three PSAC East Division championship teams. She graduated with honors in May of 2006 and was tragically killed in a car accident the following August. This is the 12th tournament to raise funds and the incredible generosity of participants in previous years has helped us award scholarships in Shannon’s honor to a KU player each of the past eleven years.
